Excerpt from Prayer Warrior Summit Formation Album by our Mother Foundress
“He made of me a sharp-edged Sword and concealed me in the shadow of His arm...” (Is 49:2)
“Declare this among the nations: proclaim a war, rouse the warriors to arms! Let all the soldiers report and march! Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak man say, ‘I am a warrior!’” (Jl 4:9-10). We are being prepared for battle. Our intercessory tools are going to develop into more prayer-warrior tools, you might say. As we come into this deeper covenant union with Jesus we become the Sword, and we become the very weapon the Spirit is looking for right now so that He can come forth with this warfare.
When He calls us, when He asks anything of us, there’s nothing sweeter. There is absolutely nothing sweeter than to hear from Jesus Christ, to have that Word come alive within us. But sometimes the message and the content of what He is asking or saying is hard to digest. As prayer warriors, what He’s asking of us is very sweet, but yet it’s a very difficult ministry. Even though we know God is with us, there are times when we might be tempted to say, “Lord, choose someone else. Help! I just want to sit under this tree and rest.” But God calls us to mountaintops, into His presence, into places of union with Him.
God is beginning to reveal His mysterious plan, this New Covenant that He wants to establish now, this New Jerusalem, His Glorified Church, people fully alive and filled with the presence of God. He is calling prayer warriors into preparing His Second Coming. He is coming as the Prayer Warrior Himself. He is coming as the Warrior King. He’s coming for the final confrontation with Satan. He Himself is preparing in, with, and through us, for this covenant relationship, for this New Covenant, this deep union, this Glorified Church where He’s fully alive.
“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’” (Rev 22:17) “Come, Lord Jesus!” (Rv 22:20)
