Excerpt from Prepare the Way of the Lord Album by our Mother Foundress

“A body You have prepared for Me.” (Heb 10:5)

The Lord is speaking of the Church, of His mystical body. He is speaking of us individually as well. How do we prepare a body for the Lord? In Isaiah we read, “A voice cries out: In the desert prepare the way of the Lord” (Is 40:3). In the desert, prepare the way.

Because the power and the wisdom of God comes from the Cross, we will encounter the Cross, the very heart of Christianity. Wisdom comes out of desert spirituality. Our former Holy Father John Paul II said, “To listen to the Word of God is the most important thing in our lives.” Can you imagine that? He was saying that to the whole Church. To listen to the Word of God is the most important thing in our whole lives. We want to spend some time in responding to that, in listening to the Word of God. We know that to surrender to God’s Word is the highest form of wisdom. As we surrender to that wisdom, we come into union with Wisdom Himself. We come into the full power of God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus, made flesh within us. Jesus is Wisdom Incarnate.

We are devoted to Our Lady and the Holy Spirit. Together, they bring forth Jesus. She could not have done it without Him. He could not have done it without Her. Lady Wisdom Herself and the Holy Spirit together will teach us to prepare the way of the Lord.

“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” (Lk 1:46-47)
