Excerpt from Healing Power of Intercession by our Mother Foundress
“When you call Me, when you go to pray to Me, I will listen to you.” (Jer 29:12)
We can see that in intercession, distance has nothing to do with it. That’s the beauty of the ministry. It can go anywhere, anytime. God always give us His ear. Intercession is always directed by God, and so we never know where it’s going to take us. We never know. It is good to be directed by God because it releases us from any prejudice that we might have. Sometimes it’s difficult to pray with people if we have certain opinions about them or certain notions or if we know certain things that people have done.
Intercessors rise above that; we go into neutral. We pray for everybody and anybody according to the direction of the Lord. A Scripture that He gave me to back this up was from Jonah, the reluctant prophet who kept running away from God. Remember when Jonah was running away from God and was on a boat and this big storm came up? Now those men on that boat were pagans, and yet they came to Jonah and said, “Rise up, call upon your God! Perhaps God will be mindful of us so that we may not perish” (Jon 1:6). And so we pray for all people. We pray for them to our God that they may receive the full fruit of Jesus Christ. We want all of God’s people to come Home.
One time at Medjugorje, Our Lady said that the problem with churches and religions is primarily here on earth. She said that in Heaven there are no walls; we’ll all be together. And so intercession rises above all countries, all nationalities, and all religions. So there’s a healing power of unity, a healing power of reconciliation, and a healing power of miracles. It’s a healing power of spirit, soul, and physical healing, and it’s all because this is the ministry of Jesus Christ Himself.
“Therefore, He is always able to save those who approach God through Him, since He lives forever to make intercession for them.” (Heb 7:25)
