Excerpt from The Uncreated Gift by our Mother Foundress

“Behold, I make all things new.”   (Rev 21:5)

The Holy Spirit is longing, really longing, for the return of Jesus.  Our Lady is longing for the return of Jesus, and the Father is longing for the return of Jesus.  Jesus can return in us through the power of the Spirit.  The work of the Holy Spirit is to bring about life in union with God.  Isn’t that beautiful?  In the fullness of humanity – this is the miraculous work not in the spirit like the angels, but in the fullness of humanity.

Paul talks about this transforming process, “All of us, gazing with unveiled faces on the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory” (2 Cor 3:18).  St. Irenaeus said, “The glory of God is man fully alive, the glory of man is the vision of God.  The Holy Spirit tries to bring each of us fully alive with God’s life, with God’s grace.”  We go from “glory to glory” as we let in more of God’s life.  We go to another level of glory as we let more of God’s life take possession of us.  

There will be different fruit in our lives; we see by the fruit.  This is very important for intercessors.  “The Spirit and the Bride (that’s the Church, that’s each one of us) say, ‘Come!’”  (Rev 22:17)  “Come, Lord Jesus.  Come in the power of Your Spirit.  Let the Spirit transform me into You.”  It’s the identical Spirit that lived within Jesus that has been given to us!  Can you imagine?  He has given us His very life, His very Spirit.  This is a tremendous mystery, and He is drawing us more and more into becoming Jesus.  I think this is the beauty of Confirmation – the powerful movement of the Spirit that makes us into Jesus.  Then we become one: one Body, one Spirit, one Lord.

Along with the Spirit, let our prayer this coming week be, “Come, Lord Jesus.  Come in the power of Your Spirit and form me into Your image so that the Father can look upon me as He looked upon You and see only You, Jesus.  Amen.”

“The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come.’ Let the hearer say, ‘Come.’ Let the one who thirsts come forward, and the one who wants it receive the gift of Life-Giving Water.”   (Rev 22:17)
